VALERIO TREVISO
AI ART DIRECTOR, CREATIVE TECHNOLOGIST, AI ARTIST
I explore the aesthetic and narrative potential of generative artificial intelligence as a tool for design and cultural transformation.
I am a professional raised in the multidisciplinary intersections of design, digital art and visual identity, with an approach that combines skills gained from years of experience as a brand strategist, UX designer, creative consultant and visual communication specialist.
I took my first steps in the field of design and branding, thanks to which I honed my ability to construct strongly identity-based visual languages, capable of translating complex values into synthetic and engaging forms.
“MINE IS A RESEARCH THAT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE SIMPLE GENERATION OF IMAGES, BUT QUESTIONS THE ORIGIN OF THE CREATIVE GESTURE, INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE ALGORITHMIC AGE AND THE POSSIBILITIES OFFERED BY A NEW VISUAL LANGUAGE, MADE OF MEMORY, CODE AND VISION.”
Over the years, I have worked as a freelancer and consultant for public bodies, cultural institutions and digital projects, pursuing a vision that put aesthetics, strategy and social impact in dialogue.
The arrival of generative AI propelled me in a new direction, that of generative art: a natural evolution of a path that had long since confronted me with questions such as the symbolic potential of images, the construction of identity through form, and the power of visual structures in communicating the unspoken.
Midjourney has been my fertile ground for achieving these goals: a new creative space, hybrid and experimental, in which AI becomes an accomplice and catalyst for my authorial vision.
Each series of images stems from a strong narrative idea and develops as a coherent ecosystem in which aesthetics and concept are intertwined; they are compositions built through a constant dialogue with the machine, an iterative process that includes selection, editing and careful attention to detail.

Mine is a research that is not limited to the simple generation of images, but questions the origin of the creative gesture, individual responsibility in the algorithmic age and the possibilities offered by a new visual language, made of memory, code and vision, in which technology merges with a dense, cultured and sensitive aesthetic.
Some of my projects have been included in challenges and publishing initiatives that investigate the potential of artificial intelligence as a cultural agent, transforming image generation into a critical and performative act.
