Elixirs Of The Realm
These cocktails blend authentic ingredients and medieval lore with a modern mixologist twist-evocative, mysterious, and just a bit magical. (And have you noticed these simply gorgeous, medieval-inspired goblets and chalices in gothic style?!)
1. The Saffron Squire
A golden-hued cocktail with saffron-infused gin, honey mead, lemon, and a dash of cardamom bitters. Garnish with edible gold dust or a clove-studded orange peel.

2. Blood of the Basilisk
A bold, ruby-red drink made with blood orange juice, cherry liqueur, and dark spiced rum. Add a drop of black absinthe and serve with a sprig of rosemary that’s been lightly smoked. Could this be more medieval?
3. Maiden’s Blush
A soft pink cocktail with rosewater, elderflower liqueur, white vermouth, and sparkling rosé. Float a single dried rosebud or edible flower on top. An absolute inspiration for medieval-themed gatherings.

4. The Alchemist’s Flask
A layered cocktail in a potion bottle-chartreuse, blue curaçao, and absinthe over crushed ice. Add edible glitter or dry ice for theatrical vapor. The sleekest cocktail glass you have ever seen.
5. Mead & Mirth
A reimagined mead spritz with sparkling apple cider, traditional mead, thyme syrup, and a splash of lemon. Serve in a goblet with a sprig of thyme and slice of dried apple. Can we applaud the shape of this magical, medieval-inspired cocktail glass?

6. The Iron Chalice
Whiskey, blackcurrant syrup, clove, and a splash of red wine. Dark, brooding, and served in a pewter-style mug with a smoky cinnamon stick (for colder, gloomy days).
7. Sorceress’ Kiss
Blackberry puree, violet liqueur, dry gin, and lemon-mysterious and seductive. Rim the glass with crushed lavender sugar.

8. The Forest Draught
A foraged-style cocktail with pine syrup, gin, sage, cucumber, and tonic. Serve with a sprig of evergreen or fern.
9. Knightcap
A strong medieval nightcap with fig-infused bourbon, black walnut bitters, and a dash of molasses. Serve with a candied fig or a twist of orange peel.

10. Dragon’s Breath
Spicy and smoky-chili vodka, ginger beer, lime, and smoked paprika. Add a flaming cinnamon stick for effect. Who said dragons were extinct?
