What keeps you excited about building this space?
What keeps us excited is the constant discovery. Every day we see artists pushing the limits of imagination, using AI to create worlds and emotions we couldn’t have imagined before. That original sense of awe never faded; we continue to be fascinated and amazed by the creativity of these artists.
How do you moderate content while encouraging creative freedom?
IIIIL is a web-based community open to everyone; anyone can create an account, but publishing requires an application to maintain a high artistic standard. From there, artists enjoy full creative freedom. Unlike many social platforms, IIIIL allows artistic nudity when it is not pornographic. We believe that the human form, when portrayed with creative and meaningful intent, is a powerful part of visual language.
Who is your core audience – hobbyists, professionals, experimenters, or a mix?
Our audience is a mix: from AI creators who want to showcase their work in an appropriate context and can use their web profile as a portfolio, to a diverse range of curious individuals such as art directors, designers, artists, curators, art managers, magazines, and galleries.
What makes your platform different from other AI art communities? What’s your unique angle?
What makes us unique is that we are a web community that combines the functions of a social network with a portfolio platform, designed specifically for the AI artist community. Our platform offers visibility through curated features, exhibitions, community showcases, and collaborations with galleries, magazines, and cultural institutions worldwide.
What’s your favorite AI Art genre, and tell us about some of your favorite ai artists within the community
It’s very difficult to choose one genre or a few artists. We truly love all the creators who are part of IIIIL. But so as not to leave this question unanswered, some of our favorite genres are surrealism, dystopia or futurism, and queer culture.

IIIIL is an international community and online web platform for artists who use artificial intelligence in their creative process. It was conceived as an idea at the end of 2023, born from our fascination with the new forms of creation made possible by artificial intelligence. We wanted to share the beauty of these works and the talent of the artists behind them. We’re a small team of people passionate about art, technology, and creativity. Coming from backgrounds in design, art, music, and programming, we built IIIIL to support and grow the community of AI art enthusiasts, creators, and promoters.
